Description
The Alfa Romeo Spider Duetto is a timeless icon of Italian automotive design, embodying the spirit of la dolce vita with its sleek lines, spirited performance, and open-air driving experience. Originally introduced in 1966 at the Geneva Motor Show, the Spider Duetto quickly captured the hearts of enthusiasts around the world and became an enduring symbol of Alfa Romeo’s legacy of passion and craftsmanship.
One of the most distinctive features of the Spider Duetto is its elegant and aerodynamic styling, penned by the renowned design house Pininfarina. Its gracefully sculpted body, characterized by smooth curves and flowing lines, exudes a sense of timeless beauty that still captivates onlookers today. The rounded front grille, iconic “boat tail” rear end, and elongated hood contribute to its unmistakable presence on the road, making it a true classic among sports cars.
Following the evolution of the previous Giulia sport variants, the Spider was initially powered by a 1.6 L engine, and later received an updated 1750cc engine in January 1968 when Alfa Romeo introduced the world to it’s 1750 line of cars, which included the ‘Boat-tail’ variant, amongst others.
The model we have on offer is a running, driving example in good condition and can easily be taken to the next level. It is finished in silver over black leather interior, a fairly uncommon colour choice for the Spiders. One can see it has had some work done to it over the years with invoices showing this, and the cherry on the top is that it is a 1750, being the most desirable variant. It has 31271km indicated on the clock and is ready to be taken the extra mile.
Interesting trade-in’s will be considered.
